據休士頓媒體報導指出，傷兵連連的火箭隊，屋漏偏逢連夜雨，全隊今天對決暴龍隊賽前，不少球員感冒身體不適，包括林書豪、哈登、哈沃德、賈西亞及史密斯等人。

雖感冒上身，但哈沃德說，「做為球員就必須在任何情況下都能發揮。因為你永遠不知道會發生什麼事！我早上流鼻水及打噴嚏，但我仍會為比賽做好準備。」

在全隊傷病侵襲下，今天主場迎戰暴龍，上半場仍能做有效發揮，以47：33領先，林書豪替補上場攻下5分。
