維他命C防感冒? 多吃無益恐傷身
你有服用維他命C的習慣嗎？小心多吃不但可能對身體無益，還可能造成身體危害；台南醫院小兒科醫師聶榮祖表示，許多民眾習慣服用維他命C，可望能預防感冒，但根據研究顯示，服用1000至2000毫克的維他命C，反而提高罹患白內障、腎結石，甚至膝關節炎等疾病的風險。

通常需要大量體力等勞動者，若每日攝取200毫克的維他命C，的確能有效降低罹患感冒的機率，但對一般人而言，其實無任何效果；聶榮祖醫師表示，其實要治療感冒，多喝水就可減少病毒附著在體內的黏膜，並幫助氣管內的痰咳出。
6歲以下孩童感冒 勿j服用成藥！
每年春節前後是兒童呼吸道疾病的好發時期，近日乍暖還寒的天氣加上室內外溫差較大，稍有不慎，感冒就隨時上身。同樣患感冒，兒童比大人的症狀更加嚴重，醫師提醒，感冒並沒有特效藥可對抗，小孩也一樣，並不是吃越多藥越快痊癒，尤其小於6歲的孩童不應自行服用市售成藥！

台北市立聯合醫院陽明院區小兒科主治醫師胡姿圭表示，兒童罹患感冒時，常見症狀如鼻塞、流鼻涕、咽喉痛，也有可能伴隨食欲不振、腹痛、腹瀉、嘔吐；而嬰幼兒感冒時，常發生嚴重的高燒現象。同樣患了感冒，兒童比大人症狀更加嚴重，由於兒童抵抗力弱，容易引起支氣管炎、肺炎等合併症，且頻率上成人1年大約得1-6次，小孩則可能每個月1次。

過年期間掛病號，以感冒、腸胃疾病患者最多。屏東基督教醫院統計，除夕到大年初四，急診達二千三百多人次，其中腸胃道不適占了約四成，有感冒症狀就診者，也占急診人次的三成五。屏基急診科主任陳志文指出，今年病毒感染引起的腸胃炎，即造成噁心、嘔吐、腹瀉及發燒等症狀的腸胃型感冒病人明顯較往年多。（記者羅欣貞）
